Orangery In Barnt Green
Timber Windows Warwickshire
We supplied and installed all new Traditional Accoya Sash Windows to this new build in Warwickshire. These windows were fitted with traditional lead weights and cords and 12mm heritage slim light glazed units. This allowed us to fit a double glazed unit but still comply with listed building control.
Windows & Door in Lapworth
Orangery near Banbury
With the original property being an old rectory, the homeowner wanted to have a room where she would have plenty of natural light beaming in, unlike the rest of the property. She decided that the best way to achieve this was to have an orangery.
We designed the below orangery, trying to be sympathetic to the original property by introducing Gothic arches and tall windows and doors. We feel the orangery blends in well to the original house.
House in Shropshire
Orangery in Rowney Green
This couple in Rowney Green felt that an orangery would be a great addition to their house, giving them extra living space and somewhere to sit during the summer with the doors open. Originally, this is all they wanted, an extra bit of space. However, 3 years later they decided that they wanted to extend their kitchen, so they came back to us and asked us to extend the existing orangery to create a large, kitchen, dining and living area as seen in the photo’s below, as you can see they have what a lot of people would love to have. Light open plan living, with beautiful views looking over the Worcestershire country side.
Orangery in Edgbaston
This couple in Edgbaston felt that an orangery would be the perfect addition to their home, opening up the kitchen and dining area to the garden. The orangery allows this couple to have a much lighter room than they had originally. During the summer the bi folding doors allow them to combine indoor and outdoor living. This type of orangery would be great for a hot summers day, having a BBQ with family and friends.
Orangery in Warwick
This couple in Warwick originally had a dilapidated, double glazed conservatory, that was past the point of repair. So they decided to call us, after a few discussions with the customer, they had decided that they wanted us to build them an orangery, when we got the process started, we submitted planning permission with listed building consent, to replace the existing double glazed conservatory with a new double glazed orangery onto the existing base. However at first the planners had requested that we only single glaze it. After appealing this, they allowed us to double glaze it, which then allowed us to create what you can see in the pictures below. We felt that the final design was very sympathetic with the house and the area of Warwick where the house was.
“We would not hesitate to recommend Traditional Conservatories Ltd to anyone interested in having a new or replacement conservatory, or even better, an orangery”
